A couple other things
by: Larry

Since your post indicates the type of scenario you might be facing, might I suggest the addition of a couple of light weight items. Odds are they will hunt you with dogs.

1. Small bottle of skunk pee scent cover.
2. Small can of red pepper, it messes up their noses when they are on your trail.
3. 6 tennis balls, since they are used for training. These may be pre-scented for additional distraction - heat vac sealed - open as needed.

The pursuers may have a heck of time getting the dogs to resume trailing you.

These items obviously don't weigh much. They just might help protect you. Thank you for your service to our country.

Everything else seems just right. A little heavy for me because I served in the 70's.

And, Thank You for any service you perform in the future, because vets my age will be depending on you!
