TOM BROWN if you know what your doing
by: Trevor

look the tom brown is a big high priced knife but after rolling my truck on my elk hunt last year and useing it to get my wife out of the truck i'm glad i spent the money. also with the debate over small game if you know what your doing and have real time experance and not just paper skills it works well my fater cut meat for 20+ years and laughed when i told him i bought the thing then after useing it had to eat his words(and is going to get one now). besides its a personal choice and i put my money & my life on my tops tom brown.

T-1 Tracker...
by: JT

Yeah, but have you checked the price on these things ? Get real. I'd rather carry a more traditional knife and a camp hatchet than this thing. I think when a tool tries to be too many things at one time, it no longer does any of those things really well. I dont think the T-1 tracker would be all that great for cleaning small game, but I'm sure it would be a useful knife for shelter building.

Tom brown tracker

Thats a mean lookin tool. I cant decide whether it looks like a survival tool or a murder weapon. I definitely like TOPS knives, and I've checked one of these out at a gun show before, I think it was the smaller one, they make a 9.5" and a 12" model. But even the smaller one felt like it would get the job done if you were just tooling around the campsite, or alone in the wilderness and needed to build a shelter... or a house, or a condo. Heavy duty.
