I have this survival rifle and i don't know anything about it,it says AIRSHOT survival rifle,made in brazil by Forjas Taurus S.A,cal..177 (4.5mm)diabolo pellets and there is a small marking G H,i do not know what it stands for,also on the top there is a small marking or engraving that looks like a wing of a bird,it has green camo and is pretty powerful,i think it is missing parts but i am not sure,please if anyone knows anything tell me,i do not know a price,model,or anything about it,thank you and please help,also go to youtube and visit 818arthur,thats my account and i posted a video for help,it is titled Survival Rifle (HELP),so please watch that as well for a visual and try to help me out.

This was produced in the mid 80s by El Gamo in Brazil. It was marketed there as El Gamo Commando, in Europe is was marketed by ASI as the Gamo Ranger. He it was marketed as both the El Gamo survival Rifle and the Taurus Air Shot.

In good condition they generally sell for arround $140.00

I have a survival rifle by turus Airshot it had a plugged barrel ,finaly had to cut it off to 6in.to shoot it am looking for a barrel.

arthur,I watch your video on youtube and your rifle is simply an other air rifle who look like an assault rifle,yes many air rifle can receive a scoop but air rifle or air gun is not serious survival weapon because climate,atmospheric pressure and wind are too much affect a shot whit a very small bullet + every air shot cause humidity in the barrel and can frozen the bullet in the barrel by cold weather ok you can kill small animal like a squirrel or small bird whit an air rifle if you make a short shot but small animal are very nerous in the wilderness and is difficult to approach to make a good shot whit an air rifle, for small week-en expedition 22lr rifle like the marlin papoose are great and easy to pack but if you make longer expedition a combo rifle(shot gun/rifle in 1 firearm)is beter and you have a good choice on the market ex;22lr/410 22wmag/20 308/12 and many more,rossy firearm make interesting match pair rifle you just have to change the barrel for the hunting situation and they offer a lot of caliber possibility at a lower price good luck for your research
