Have extra house provisions to Hunker down if necessary. One kit per vehicle, small daily buggout in case you can't return home and at least three day kit in a larger more inclusive kit. Have a plan A,B, and C as is necessary. Preplan possible escape routes and modes of transportation. Consider possible traffic jams, store closures, power outages, conventional communication breakdown, looting, blackouts, poor or dangerous weather, curfews and Marshall law. Collaborate with loved ones on distant and remote safe havens to meet. Possibly prechosen and cached. There's safety in numbers to an extent and the better the kits, planning for every contigency and quick response to situation garners confidence which is the key to survival. Dont get caught up in the general insanity of fear. Think on your feet even if all plans prove futile.
Remember you aren't cattle to be stampeded you can mentally and physically prepare for any eventuality by thinking ahead. The kits here are a great place to start.
