My Semi-Auto Ak-47

by Allen
(Eldon,MO)

I kept it simple. AK-47

I kept it simple. AK-47

It was cheap and will function in the most hostile of places. The ammo price is also dirt cheap.I shoot steel cased ammo of course lol.

AKs
by: Anonymous

While not the perfect gun for all situations, the AK is a pretty swell gun in a societal breakdown or combat situation. I prefer the cheap Romanian WASR-10s with a cheap Romanian side folding stock. They do a pretty good job as a varmint killer and short range ranch-rifle too.

survival or war
by:

I know the ak-47 is 1 of the best millitary rifle
in history, but in survival situations you don't make war and for survival in the wilderness you need water and food. For hunting different
size animals a shotgun with the appropriate ammo
offers more versatility ex:#7½ for rabbit, squirrel and small bird,#4and#2 for small and big duck, buck shot and slug for deer, bear, moose or personal protection.

some gunmakers offer combo rifle and that's a good
thing because you have two firearms. One ex:22/410 22mag/20 308/12 and many more, you choose depend of your needs.

The marlin papoose is a good choice for some one
who makes a week-end expedition.
