Marlin 1894C

Marlin 1894C .357

Marlin 1894C .357

I have a Marlin 1894C in .357 Magnum. It is a very handy little rifle. I like that is uses the same ammo as my revolver. While I have other firearms, the rifle and revolver are my #1 go to guns for emergencies. It is large enough to bring down small whitetails or a 100 pound hog at 80-100 yards with a careful shot. It can be downloaded for smaller game. Holds 9 rounds and a lot of ammo can be carried. The rifles are a little on the expensive side but a good used one could be a bargain.

Yes the can. I always use jacketed bullets though. I stay away from the wadcutters.

Just wondering
by: Papa 214

I was wondering if a Marlin 1894C is able to
shoot .38cal , .38cal special, plus, and 357 Magnum ?
I have a .357 duty side arm and practice with .38cal just to save money.
