M1 Garand

Springfield M1 Garand

Springfield M1 Garand

I love my M1. This isn't a light rifle but it is very well balanced, helping with off-hand shots. Its very accurate and hits plenty hard enough to take any game in north America. 150 grain fmj's don't tear up small game too much that you couldn't still eat them and 150 grain soft points would work well on everything else. The semi-auto and quick reloading make it very useful for a defensive situation. As well as a 10" bayonet. Cleaning gear is held in the butt stock under a trap door. My rifle was made by Springfield armory in 1941 and still works like its new. That is a good testament to the durability of this firearm. I hope when the day comes that i'm in a survival situation it is by my side.

I have over 20 clips loaded for my M1 and keep it ready if ever needed, you can not bet a better weapon. After 1 world war and Korea and early Viet Nam what better evidence do you need.

My M! Garand will be the first gun I reach for every time. I also have a M1 Carbine, Mini 14, SKS, 10/22, and a shotgun, but I find the Garand the best all around shooter and easy to maintain.
A guy would look like he means business holding one.
