Go to any commercial company who sells on the web and guess what you will find? 1. No #10 cans of freeze dried food. #10 storage is about 1 gallon of the same type of food. It is perfect for use by a family of 4 or larger to prepare food to feed people displaced from their normal locations of eating. It is a great way to get stable meat for storage unopened well over 5 years. 2. No Meals Ready to Eat (MRE'S) Commercial Variety. MRE'S are used by the military, campers, and hunters to eat a single serving of lunch or dinner while on the move. Nothing is needed except water and a chemical heater to heat the main courses up. The package comes complete including a small amount of salt, pepper, and toilet paper. Why is this you may ask? Well for the last 14 months the U.S. Government various departments including Homeland Security, FEMA, Department of Defense, etc. have been purchasing large amounts of these storage usable foods for a future emergency. When questioned about these major purchases they have no comment. If you do not believe me check out Oregon Freeze Dry Foods, and Mountain House brand Web sites then Google MREs and research those company web sites also. Again the question needs to be asked WHY????
