yes a good knife is important in a wilderness survival situation but remember the old woodman or the old trapper they carry an axe any where they go in the willderness to make what they need
ex: shack,raft,trap and more so when you go in the
willderness don't forget this 2 essentials tools
(thas the combo you need)
