I am in australia and I am starting from scratch I am after as much info that can get.
What are the best web sites for this.
I am in the middle of suburbia but I would like to purchase a property approx 20 kiliometres away and start setting it up as a bugout retreat when the shit hits.
My brief on the property is secluded heavily wooded approx 50-100 acres.
I belive I need to set my home in suburbs as a temp spot 7-14 days and if it goes pare shape then retreat to my country bunker.

I haven't any particular sites to recommend. What I have done is just go to many of them and try to pluck the best info from each one. As for supplies, I try my best to buy locally. Sure, lots of "stuff" on the net, but it's my belief that if things head south, if I need any last minute items, my local supplier (with whom I am trying to build a rapport with) will provide me with what I need ahead of a walk-in off the street. It also appears that finances are not a big concern for you. Lucky you!!:-) I don't know what you have in mind for an abode to retreat to, but try googling "cargo container homes". I think these units are the cats meow for a survival home. Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best. Good Luck.
