The reasons i like the AK-47 is it's overall durability, relative cheaper pricing of the gun and ammo, and most of all the clip accessories that are available.
The downside is that the AK-47 is associated with a lot of the enemies of the USA, past and present.
I was thinking the AK too, but the drum magazine might be a little to much in a survival situation haha.

you know im just tired of seeing these things they'r everywhere and there just not practical to carry it just seems like everyone has went nuts over these and the ar15s and before long sks's are probably going to cost $500 the way everybodys talkin about em.

Nice rifle, and I like the drum. It looks like the first AK I ever bought. (Maudi) I have had several versions over the years and prefer the standard stock with the pistol grip.
