AK 47 cons and pros

I have to say this is the best rifle for its price and ammo availability. Ill explain Pros -VERY reliable no jams ever will work in rain, snow, desert you name it. - average stopping power 7.62x39 has more power than the 5.56, 6.5, 6.8 but less power than the .308(7.62x51) - economic friendly ammo you can get around 1100 rounds for under $200. -Average selection of gear to put on the AK -VERY eay to use no prior training required. - this rifle doesnt need to be maintained at all . but cleaning it will be best for any rifle -Accuracy is almost average depending if you have high end parts installed. -recoil is decent -magazines are generally cheap to buy if they are surplus . Metal mags are the best not platic or thermold ones CONS -accuracy not too bad best used up to 250m or less -most optics are not calibrated for 7.62 but most optics can adjust if you zero properly -heavy rifle at around 5.5lb-10lb depending on make and model and what you have on it. -7.62 trajectory on average side
