Often it is the Wilderness survival stories told by others that
provide the most valuable lessons. There is nothing like
reading the true accounting of a survival story told by the
person who experienced it. Even if you never use
the same methods to survive that you will read in the
survival stories below, they reinforce the absolutely
essential need to be prepared, both with your gear,
and in your head. Some of these
survivors stories end with them affecting their
own rescue through signaling or other means, others
just got lucky. Dont depend on luck to be on
your side when you venture out, get your plan and your gear
right. Know ahead of time what you will do if
things suddenly go wrong, plan to be a survivor.
