Ontario XM FolderRobust overbuilt construction is the name of the game for the Ontario XM series. They are made to withstand extremely rugged use and abuse in the harshest of contitions. Some of the few folding knives offered by Ontario Knife Co., the XM series comes in three styles, Black with black blade, Camo with Camo blade, and charcoal with bead blasted blade finish. Each is available with Combo or straight blade. Blade steel is N690, an austrian stainless steel with great edge characteristics and superb corrosion resistance. Dual thumb studs allow for ambidextrous opening. The machined aircraft aluminum handles house dual titanium liner locks and have a lanyard hole at the back. The Ontario XM is a fairly large knife at 8" open length, and weighing 6.3 oz., closed length is 4-5/8. At $140+ the XM may be a little pricey for some, but you can bet with the Ontario name on it, you'll get what you pay for.
